MOQ: 20 pieces

This 12V electronic Peugeot 307 AC compressor control valve (CL-3006) is listed for the Peugeot 307 and for Citroën cars with a Sanden SD6C12 or SD7C16 compressor. The valve can be changed on its own, so your customers pay for a valve and not a whole compressor, which keeps the repair affordable on an older car.

It suits markets where the Peugeot 307 and older Citroën cars are still in daily use; where other makes dominate, it fits better as one line in a wider order. Tell us your country, main vehicle models and usual volumes, and our sales team confirms the exact models and where CL-3006 fits in your purchasing plan.

What Does a Peugeot 307 AC Compressor Control Valve Do?

A Peugeot 307 AC compressor control valve is the electronic valve on the compressor that sets how much refrigerant a variable-displacement compressor delivers. The A/C control unit sends a signal to the coil of the valve, and the valve raises or lowers compressor output to match the cooling the cabin needs, so the compressor does not run at full load all the time.

What matters for your customers is that the valve is a separate part. When the valve has failed and the compressor is still sound, a workshop can change the valve alone; our guide to replacing a control valve without changing the compressor explains how to tell the two cases apart. CL-3006 is the Peugeot 307 reference in the range of control valves we supply.

Which Cars Does This Peugeot 307 AC Compressor Control Valve Fit?

This Peugeot 307 AC compressor control valve, CL-3006, is listed for the Peugeot 307 and for Citroën cars fitted with a Sanden SD6C12 or SD7C16 compressor. It is a 12V electronic valve for combustion-engine cars.

Not every 307 takes this valve. The 307 was built with more than one compressor, and some early versions carry a Sanden SD6V12 instead. CL-3006 is therefore confirmed by the vehicle version and its compressor, not by the model name alone. For Citroën, the valve is listed at brand level, and our sales team confirms the exact models with you before quotation.

Peugeot and Citroën cars also use other valves from our range, and two of them are easy to confuse with CL-3006.

CL-3005Citroën, Peugeot, Chery, Trumpchi73 mmConfirmed by vehicle model through our sales team
CL-2006Peugeot, Citroën83.5 mmNo

CL-2006, our longer valve for Peugeot and Citroën, is 10.5 mm longer than CL-3006 and has larger cartridge diameters, so the two do not replace each other. CL-3005, our SD6C12 control valve, has the same main dimensions as CL-3006 and is used on the same compressor family, so which of the two a car needs is settled by the vehicle model.

Send us the 307 versions and Citroën models you handle most, with the compressor model where you have it, and our sales team confirms which valve each one needs.

Why Is the Peugeot 307 Market Worth Sourcing Control Valves For?

The Peugeot 307 market is worth sourcing control valves for because the car was built in very large numbers, the cars still running are close to 20 years old or more, and in hot markets an A/C repair is hard to put off. More than 3.5 million Peugeot 307s were produced worldwide after the 2001 launch, according to Stellantis.

A Large Base of Older Cars

That production total covers every 307 version, including those with a different compressor, so it shows the size of the car base, not the number of cars that take CL-3006. The same release notes that the first Peugeot 308 succeeded the 307 in 2007, so a 307 from that run is now close to 20 years old or more. Cars stay on the road for a long time: the average car in the EU is 12.7 years old, and Greece has the oldest fleet at 17.8 years, according to ACEA. For the owner of a car that old, changing a valve makes more sense than paying for a complete compressor.

Peugeot and Citroën Still Sell in Volume

Both brands remain large sellers. In France, home to both, the 2025 registration figures put Peugeot second among all brands at 221,001 cars, 5% fewer than the year before, and Citroën fourth at 115,576, a rise of 3.6% (Best Selling Cars).

Hot Markets Cannot Postpone the Repair

In hot markets an owner cannot do without the A/C. The WMO reports that 2024 was the hottest year on record for the Arab region and that a number of countries recorded temperatures above 50 °C. The group behind Peugeot and Citroën is growing in that part of the world: Stellantis reported 453,000 vehicles shipped across the Middle East and Africa in 2025, 7% more than in 2024, in its 2025 full-year results. That figure is for the whole group, not for the two brands alone. In that heat, a failed valve is a repair owners do not want to put off.

What This Means for Your Purchase Plan

What decides the quantity is which models run in your market. Where the 307 and older Citroën cars are common, CL-3006 has a regular place in the order. Where they are few, a test quantity next to your main lines is enough to see how it sells.

Who Can Supply Peugeot and Citroën Control Valves Reliably?

C-Loong supplies CL-3006 with more than 15 years in automotive A/C parts behind it and a range that covers almost every vehicle make. A dependable supplier sends the same valve, built and tested the same way, on every order, because a batch that differs from the last one comes back to you as customer claims. A 307 that needs a valve may also need a compressor clutch or an expansion valve, and we make both, so these lines can travel in one order from one supplier.

When you need a valve we do not make, send us its specification, the quality level you expect, your target price and the quantity. We search China’s supply market for the closest match and inspect it again using what we know from our own production before we offer it. If nothing on the market fits, we can review the requirement as a custom development case. Either way you deal with one contact for the whole order.

How Is Every CL-3006 Control Valve Tested Before Shipment?

Every CL-3006 is tested before it is packed; we do not test a sample and release the rest. For you, that is the difference between a reorder and a claim: a valve that leaks or does not respond is found on our line, not in your customer’s car. The checks run in five stages.

Incoming Parts

Before assembly we inspect the valve body, core, stem, coil, O-rings and springs. A damaged O-ring or a weak spring is removed here, so it never becomes a finished valve that leaks or regulates badly.

Assembly

During assembly we check that the core moves freely, that the assembly height is correct and that each O-ring sits in its groove. CL-3006 carries three O-rings, Ø13.2 × 1.5, Ø16 × 1.5 and Ø20 × 2 mm, and they seal the cartridge inside the compressor. One ring out of place is enough to cause a leak once the system is under pressure.

Electrical Tests on the Finished Valve

Each finished valve is tested for coil resistance and insulation, and for diode polarity where the valve has a diode. CL-3006 is a 12V valve driven by a signal from the A/C control unit, so a coil fault leaves it unable to respond. These faults cannot be seen from outside, which is why every coil is measured.

Function Tests on the Finished Valve

We then test actuation, energizing response and sticking, followed by leakage, flow and pressure response for this valve type. These tests show whether the valve changes compressor output the way it should when it is fitted to the car.

When a Valve Fails a Check

A valve that fails any check is set aside. It is reworked and tested again, or it is rejected. When the same fault shows up more than once, we go back through the whole batch and not only the single valve.

What Happens If Something Goes Wrong With an Order?

If something goes wrong with an order, we fix the immediate problem first and leave the question of who is responsible for later. Send us the order number, the part number, how many pieces are affected, the 307 version or Citroën model and compressor the valve was fitted to, and photos. We confirm what is affected and agree a practical interim step with you, so your own customer is not kept waiting.

Once we know the cause, we trace it back to the stage where it began (inspection, packing, dispatch or transport) and propose a final solution that fits the actual order. Our sales team stays with the case until it is closed, and no step is taken before you agree to it. Quality problems with the product itself are covered by the 1-year warranty.

Build a Purchase Plan for Your Peugeot and Citroën Market

Starting from CL-3006, we can put together a purchase plan for your market: which valves to carry for the Peugeot and Citroën models you sell, in what quantities, and which other lines are worth adding. In our experience, most buyers begin with several models at 20 pieces each, see which ones move in their market, and then build the regular order around those. CL-3006 can be tested in the same order as CL-3005 and CL-2006, so three Peugeot and Citroën valves arrive in one shipment.

Most enquiries begin with four things: the product, the country you sell in, a list of vehicles and a rough quantity. Tell us as well what the valves are for and what you want the project to achieve, and the plan can follow that more closely. If you are unsure what to include, write to our sales team anyway; they will answer patiently and suggest the option that suits you.
