This new 12V VS14E compressor serves as both a Kia Ceed AC compressor and a Hyundai i30 AC compressor, with a 5PK, 117 mm clutch pulley and OE 97701-A6400. It fits the 1.4-litre Kia Ceed and Pro_cee’d (JD) from 2015 and the Hyundai i30 (GD) from 2014.

It suits markets where compact family hatchbacks are common; where SUVs dominate, it fits better as one line in a wider order. Tell us your country, main vehicle models and usual volumes, and we will suggest where it fits in your purchasing plan.

What Does the VS14E Compressor Do in the Kia Ceed and Hyundai i30?

The VS14E compressor is the part that makes the air conditioning cool in the 1.4-litre Kia Ceed and Hyundai i30. It is listed under OE 97701-A6400, and our replacement is built to the same specification.

When the driver switches the A/C on, the 12V clutch engages and the engine belt turns the compressor through its 5PK pulley. The compressor squeezes the refrigerant gas and pushes it round the system. The refrigerant passes through the condenser and the automotive AC expansion valve before it cools the air going into the cabin. When the A/C is switched off, the clutch releases and the compressor stops, so it only takes power from the engine when cooling is needed.

If the compressor fails, the A/C stops cooling and the car blows warm air, and the workshop has to fit a replacement Kia Ceed AC compressor or Hyundai i30 AC compressor. If only the clutch has failed, a compressor AC clutch can be the fix rather than a complete unit.

Which Kia Ceed and Hyundai i30 Models Does This AC Compressor Fit?

This VS14E compressor fits the Kia Ceed and Pro_cee’d of the JD generation and the Hyundai i30 of the GD generation, all with the 1.4-litre petrol engine. It replaces OE 97701-A6400. Other versions of these cars use a Kia Ceed AC compressor or Hyundai i30 AC compressor with a different OE number, such as 97701-A6701 or 97701-A6502, and you can find more models in our range of wholesale auto AC compressors. To confirm a particular model year or version, contact our sales team or send your vehicle list through the inquiry form.

Why the Hyundai i30 and Kia Ceed AC Compressor Is Worth Sourcing

A large base of European-built cars. Both cars were built in Europe in large numbers. Kia has produced 2.1 million cars of the Ceed range at its plant in Žilina, Slovakia (Kia, 2024), and Hyundai has built nearly 1.5 million i30s at its Czech plant in Nošovice since 2008 (Hyundai, 2026). These totals cover all generations; the JD Ceed and GD i30 with the 1.4-litre petrol engine, which this VS14E compressor fits, are part of that base.

Older cars, independent repairs. Cars in Europe are staying on the road longer: the average EU passenger car is 12.7 years old, and in Greece 17.8 years (ACEA, 2026). The JD Ceed and GD i30 are no longer in production, and as they age, their A/C repairs move to independent workshops, which buy their parts from wholesalers.

Heat makes A/C a must. In southern Europe, where car fleets are oldest and summers are hot, a failed compressor is replaced straight away rather than left until the cooler months. With one VS14E compressor covering both the Kia Ceed and Hyundai i30 1.4, you can meet that demand with a single part number in your purchasing plan.

A Reliable Supplier for Your Hyundai and Kia A/C Parts

A market of older compact cars only pays off if the supply behind it holds up: the same compressor, order after order, along with the other A/C parts your customers ask for. We make four A/C product lines: compressors, compressor clutches, expansion valves and control valves, including compressors for other Hyundai and Kia models such as the Hyundai Accent and Elantra and the Kia Rio. We match our models to the vehicles in your market, so your budget goes on parts that sell.

For the models we don’t make, we source them for you. With more than 15 years in this industry, we know China’s A/C parts supply market well. We compare the available options against your vehicle and OE number, the quality your customers expect and your target price, then recommend the one that fits best. Before it goes into your order, we inspect it again using what we know from making these parts ourselves, so it meets the same standard as our own models. Everything ships together under one order and one contact, so you don’t have to find, check and manage several factories yourself.

How Is Every VS14E Compressor Tested Before Shipment?

Every VS14E compressor we ship for the Kia Ceed and Hyundai i30 is tested on our own testing line before it is packed: every unit, not a sample from the batch. Each one is checked against the specification and for visible damage, leak-tested at the housing joints, shaft seal and refrigerant ports, and checked for clean clutch engagement and electrical insulation. Before packing, the model, label and quantity are matched against the order and the ports are capped.

The most important check is the bench run. A compressor can turn freely in a static check and still fail once it is under load, so every unit runs on a test bench that reproduces the temperature and pressure of a car’s A/C system. While it runs, we confirm that the clutch engages at start-up, pressure drops on the suction side and builds on the discharge side, the unit runs steadily, and there is no abnormal noise or vibration. A unit that passes has already worked under real operating conditions, so faults such as weak pumping, unstable pressure or internal noise are caught at our factory, not at your customer’s workshop.

What Happens If There Is a Problem With Your Kia Ceed or Hyundai i30 AC Compressor Order?

If something goes wrong, we don’t step back and argue about fault first. We deal with the problem in front of you, then agree the final solution with you. Simply tell us what you are seeing: the order reference, how many pieces are affected, the vehicle the compressor was fitted to, and photos or a short video. You don’t need to work out the cause before the case starts. You get a first reply within about two hours of our working day, and our first job is to stop the problem from costing you more. Our sales team works out with you what to do about the affected units and the customer who is waiting, so you have an answer for them straight away.

Once the immediate problem is under control, we look for the cause in a fixed order: first, whether the right compressor was supplied for that car; next, the product itself, its packaging and transport; then the installation, including whether the A/C system was cleaned when the compressor was replaced; and finally, the rest of the A/C system. We don’t call it a product fault or an installation fault until every step is checked, so the result holds up when you pass it on to your customer. Our sales team then explains what we found and what it means for the rest of the batch, including whether your remaining units can stay on sale, and follows the agreed solution through to the end.

A Hyundai and Kia A/C Parts Plan Built Around Your Market

Whether you are adding the Kia Ceed and Hyundai i30 AC compressor to your range or reviewing a wider list of A/C parts, what helps most is a clear plan: which models suit the vehicles in your market, which to buy first, and in what quantities. Our sales team puts that plan together with you, along with a quotation. Orders start from 20 pieces per model, and different models can be combined in the same order, so a new line can be tried without a large commitment.

Three details are enough to begin: the product you are interested in, such as the VS14E compressor for OE 97701-A6400, the country you sell into, and the quantity you have in mind. If you can share a little more, the plan becomes more precise. It helps to know why you are buying: to reorder a model that already sells, to try a new one, or to fill a specific customer order. It also helps to know what you want to achieve, such as building a Hyundai and Kia A/C range or bringing more of your parts under one supplier.

If you are not yet sure which details matter or which models fit your market, our sales team is glad to talk it through. We will take the time to answer your questions and work out the most suitable solution with you. You can reach us through the form below, or through your usual sales contact.

FAQ

Which vehicles do your compressors fit?

Each product page lists the vehicle models that compressor fits. Our range covers many car brands and models, for both imported and locally built vehicles. If a vehicle you need is not listed, our sales team will confirm whether one of our models applies or whether a different one is needed.

What is the minimum order quantity?

The minimum is 20 pieces per model. Different models can be combined in the same order, so you can test several models in your market without a large commitment to any one of them.

Are your compressors new or remanufactured?

The compressors we manufacture are new units, not remanufactured. The condition of each model is stated in the specification table on its product page.

Is every compressor tested before shipment?

Yes. Every unit is tested on our own testing line, not a sample from the batch. Each compressor is checked against the order, leak-tested, checked for clutch engagement and electrical insulation, and run on a bench that reproduces the temperature and pressure of a car’s A/C system before it is packed.

What certifications do your compressors meet?

Our production operates under an ISO 9001 certified quality management system, and our products carry CE certification. We also comply with automotive industry standards such as IATF 16949.

Can I request a sample for testing?

Yes. We can provide samples so you can check that the compressor meets your requirements before a bulk order. The sample and shipping cost is agreed case by case, and if you go on to place a formal order, the sample cost is deducted from it.

Can you make a compressor to our requirements, or supply a model not listed on this site?

Yes. Our engineering team can develop a compressor based on your technical specifications, design requirements and vehicle types. For models we don’t produce, we can source them through our knowledge of China’s supply market and check them again using our own production experience before they ship with your order. Send us the OE number, vehicle model or your requirements to start.

What is your delivery time?

Normally 7 to 15 days. In-stock items may be dispatched on the same day, and production of in-stock models is arranged as soon as payment is received. Customised compressors take longer. Our sales team confirms the exact delivery time with you when the order is placed.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept T/T (telegraphic transfer), L/C (letter of credit), PayPal and Western Union, among others. The payment method can be agreed based on the order value and the details of the transaction.

How are the compressors packed?

Each compressor is packed individually, with its refrigerant ports capped to keep out moisture and dirt. Packaging follows international shipping standards and typically uses cartons, foam and plastic bags to protect the units in transit. Custom packaging is available for customers with specific requirements.

What happens if there is a problem with an order?

You get a first reply within about two hours of our working day. Our sales team first helps you deal with the immediate situation, such as a customer who is waiting or stock you are holding. We then check the cause step by step, tell you what we found, and agree the final solution with you.

How do I start an enquiry?

Send us the product or OE number, the country you sell into and the quantity you have in mind. If you can also share the purpose of the purchase and what the project aims to achieve, we can offer a more complete plan. If you are unsure what to include, our sales team is happy to talk it through with you.
