MOQ: 20 pieces

CL-3009 is a 12V electronic VW Polo AC compressor control valve for the Sanden compressor used on the Polo, combustion-engine versions only. Since the valve is replaced alone, your customers pay for a valve and keep the compressor.

CL-3009 suits markets where the VW Polo is common on the road. In markets led by other makes, it works as one line in a bigger order. Share your country, your top Polo models and your usual volumes, and our sales team confirms the versions and the place of CL-3009 in your purchasing plan.

What Does a VW Polo AC Compressor Control Valve Do?

On a variable-displacement compressor, the control valve decides how much refrigerant gets pumped. The A/C control unit feeds the valve coil a signal, and the valve adjusts output up or down. The cabin then holds its set temperature without the compressor working at full load all the time.

Because the valve is a separate part, a workshop can swap it and keep a compressor that still works. Our control valve replacement guide shows how to tell a valve fault from a compressor fault. For Polos with a Sanden compressor, CL-3009 is the entry in our control valve range.

Which Cars Does This VW Polo AC Compressor Control Valve Fit?

This VW Polo AC compressor control valve, CL-3009, is a 12V valve for the Sanden compressor used on petrol and diesel versions of the VW Polo. Our sales team confirms by vehicle model whether a given Polo takes CL-3009 or a similar valve from our range.

A Polo’s model name does not show which compressor it carries, and one model can use different valves, so we list no model years here that we have not verified. A Polo may leave the factory with a Sanden, Denso or Delphi compressor, and our compressor range covers all three types. CL-3009 fits only the Sanden one, so please name the compressor brand or the vehicle model in your enquiry.

Several of our valves share dimensions with CL-3009 or are listed for the same Polo, so the table sets them side by side.

CL-3008 is also listed for the Sanden compressor on the Polo, but its housing differs, so it is a different valve. CL-3001 is a Volkswagen valve too, with a different plug. CL-3002 has the same drawing as CL-3009 and is told apart only by the vehicles listed, so we confirm it by vehicle model. CL-3004 to CL-3007 are angled-connector valves for other makes. Why Is the VW Polo Market Worth Sourcing Control Valves For?

The VW Polo market is worth sourcing control valves for because cars stay on the road for years, and an older fleet keeps repair demand running. In 2024 there were 256 million cars on EU roads, and they averaged 12.7 years old, according to ACEA. Greece had the oldest fleet at 17.8 years and Luxembourg the newest at 8.2 years.

Hot climates push A/C systems harder, and the Arab region is a clear case: 2024 set its record for the hottest year, and a number of countries there passed 50 °C, according to the WMO.

These are whole-fleet figures. They are not counts of Polos or of cars that take this valve, so they show the breadth of the aftermarket and nothing more. What decides your quantity is how many Polos run where you sell. Where they are common, CL-3009 belongs in the regular order; where they are few, 20 pieces next to your main lines is enough to test it.

Who Can Supply VW Polo Control Valves Reliably?

C-Loong has supplied automotive A/C parts for 15+ years, across almost every vehicle make. On a Polo line, the danger is a reorder that differs from the first order. Every CL-3009 is built and tested one way, so later batches match the first. A Polo in for A/C repair may also call for a compressor or a compressor clutch. We make both, and they can go in the same order.

Need a Volkswagen valve we do not list? Send the specification, quality level, target price and quantity. We search China’s supply market for the closest match, then re-check it with our own production experience. If nothing suitable exists, we can assess a custom development case. One contact handles all of it.

How Is Every CL-3009 Control Valve Tested Before Shipment?

Every CL-3009 is tested before it ships, piece by piece, never by sampling. A faulty valve reaching a workshop returns to you as a claim, so it has to be caught before shipment. Testing runs in five stages.

Incoming Parts

Before assembly we inspect the valve body, core, stem, coil, O-rings and springs. Parts that are damaged or weak are removed at this point, so they never end up in a valve that leaks or reacts slowly.

Assembly

While the valve is assembled, we check that the core slides freely, the assembly height is correct and the O-rings sit properly. CL-3009 uses three, Ø13.2 × 1.5, Ø16 × 1.5 and Ø20 × 2 mm, to seal the cartridge in the compressor. A twisted ring or one out of its groove leaks under pressure.

Electrical Tests on the Finished Valve

Each finished valve has its coil resistance and insulation measured, and diode polarity is tested where a diode is fitted. CL-3009 is a 12V valve, and the A/C control unit sends the coil its signal through the straight 2-pin plug. A coil fault cannot be seen on the vehicle, so we test it before shipment.

Function Tests on the Finished Valve

Then we test actuation, energizing response and sticking, followed by leakage, flow and pressure response where the valve type calls for it. The results show whether CL-3009 moves on command and seals when it should.

When a Valve Fails a Check

A valve that fails any check leaves the line. It is reworked and tested again, or it is scrapped. A defect that repeats sends us back to trace the whole batch. The aim is to find problems on our line, before your customers do.

What Happens If Something Goes Wrong With an Order?

If an order goes wrong, we start with the problem and decide responsibility later. Please send the order number, part number, affected quantity, the Polo model the valves were fitted to, and photos. We establish what is affected and agree a temporary arrangement, so your customer is covered meanwhile.

Next we trace the cause to a stage: inspection, packing, dispatch or transport. The final solution follows what the order shows. Our sales team follows the case through, and nothing proceeds without your agreement. Product faults fall under the 1-year warranty.

Build a Purchase Plan for Your VW Polo Market

Start with CL-3009 and we help you build a VW purchase plan: which valves suit the Polo models in your market, how many of each, and which other A/C lines to add. Many buyers begin with several models at 20 pieces each, see what sells, then set a regular order. CL-3009 can be tested in that first order next to other VW and Sanden-compressor valves.

A plan starts from the product, your country and a rough quantity. Add what the valves are for and the goal of your project, and we can tailor the plan. If you cannot decide what to send, our sales team will answer patiently and suggest the fitting option.
