Market Planning:
Tell us the vehicles that dominate where you sell, and we work out which compressor models earn a place on your shelf, so your capital sits in stock that moves.
Delivery Timeframe:
Normally 7–15 days. In-stock items may be dispatched on the same day. Final delivery time depends on order quantity and stock availability.
MOQ: 20 pieces
The CL-61006 is a 12V 6CVC140E AC compressor for the Honda Civic 2.0L (2016–2018). It replaces OE 38810-5BA-A03 and 38810-5AA-A03, with a 7PK 110 mm clutch pulley.
Where the tenth-generation Civic is a common family, commuter or ride-hailing car, this compressor keeps selling through independent workshops. Where Honda is a small share of the market, it works better as one line in a wider range. Tell us your country, main vehicle models and usual volumes, and we will suggest where it fits in your purchasing plan.

What the 38810-5BA-A03 AC Compressor Does in the Honda Civic 2.0L
The 38810-5BA-A03 AC compressor is the part that makes the air conditioning work in the 2016–2018 Honda Civic 2.0L. The engine drives it through a 7PK belt. When the driver switches the A/C on, the clutch engages and the compressor starts pumping. It draws in low-pressure refrigerant, compresses it and pushes it on to the condenser, which keeps refrigerant moving through the whole system. Without it, the condenser, expansion valve and evaporator have nothing to work with, and the cabin gets no cooling.
When the compressor fails inside, through worn internals, a leaking shaft seal or a clutch that no longer engages, the Civic stops cooling and the compressor is replaced as a complete unit. The CL-61006 is our replacement for this job, matching OE 38810-5BA-A03 and 38810-5AA-A03. It is one of the wholesale auto AC compressors we make for Honda and other makes.

Which Honda Civic Models Does the 38810-5BA-A03 AC Compressor Fit?
The 38810-5BA-A03 AC compressor fits the tenth-generation Honda Civic built from 2016 to 2018 with the 2.0L four-cylinder engine. The earlier Civic 1.8L from 2006 to 2011 uses a different compressor and is not covered by this model; other Honda models are covered in our wholesale auto AC compressors range. To check a particular model year, engine or trim, contact our sales team or send your vehicle list through the inquiry form.
Why the 38810-5BA-A03 AC Compressor Is Worth Sourcing
A/C compressors are a steady replacement category. When one fails inside, the workshop replaces it as a complete unit, and each of those jobs is a sale for whoever can supply the right model. For the 2016–2018 Honda Civic 2.0L, three things decide how much of that demand reaches you.
How many of these cars run in your market. The Civic is Honda’s best-known nameplate, with more than 27 million sold in over 170 countries since 1972 (Honda, 2025). The 2.0L version of the tenth-generation Civic was sold mainly in North America, so demand for this compressor is strongest there and in markets where North American-spec Civics are common.
How much the A/C is used. In hot markets, air conditioning is not optional. Drivers run it for most of the year, and cars used for commuting or ride-hailing run it for most of the day. The compressor works harder and wears out sooner, and a car without cooling goes to the workshop straight away. The longer the hot season, the more replacements each year.
How old the cars are. The newest of these cars are now eight years old and past Honda’s new-car warranty, so owners take them to independent workshops, which is where you sell. Cars are also staying on the road longer: in the United States, the average passenger car is now 14.5 years old (S&P Global Mobility, 2025). As these Civics keep running, the same compressor keeps being asked for, and CL-61006 sits naturally in a range of wholesale auto AC compressors built around the cars your customers bring in.
Growing Your A/C Parts Business Together
A nameplate as familiar as the Civic, a hot climate and ageing cars make a clear opening for this compressor, and the next step is a supplier you can rely on. We make four A/C product lines: compressors, compressor clutches, expansion valves and control valves. We start from the cars your customers bring in, point you to the parts that fit them, such as our CL-88522 expansion valve for the Honda Accord, CR-V and Civic, and tell you plainly which models are unlikely to move.
When a part on your list is outside our own production, our 15+ years in the industry help us find a suitable product in China’s supply market, and we check it again ourselves before it goes into your order. You send one list, keep one contact, and receive everything in one shipment. The minimum is 20 pieces per model, and models can be mixed in one order.

How Is Every 38810-5BA-A03 Compressor (CL-61006) Tested Before Shipment?
Every CL-61006 is tested on our own testing line before it is packed. That means every unit, not a sample from the batch. Each compressor is checked against the order specification (12V, 6CVC140E, 7PK 110 mm pulley, connector and ports) and for visible damage. It is then leak-tested at the housing joints, the shaft seal and the refrigerant ports, and its clutch engagement and coil insulation are checked. Before packing, the model, label and quantity are checked again and the ports are capped.
The most important step is the bench test. Each compressor runs on a test bench that reproduces the temperature and pressure it will face in a car’s A/C system, while we check that it builds pressure, runs steadily and stays within normal noise and vibration. A compressor can turn freely by hand and still pump weakly or make noise once it is under load, and those faults only show up in this kind of test. Every CL-61006 that ships has already run under working conditions, not just passed a static check.

What Happens If Something Goes Wrong With Your CL-61006 Order?
If something goes wrong, we deal with the immediate problem first, then find the cause, and our sales team agrees the final solution with you.
We don’t ask you to prove whose fault it is before we act, and we don’t go quiet while the cause is checked. Tell us what you are seeing: the order reference, how many pieces are affected, the vehicle, and photos or a short video if you have them. You get a first reply within about two hours of our working day. The first thing we deal with is the problem in front of you: what your customer is waiting for, where the goods are, and what you have already promised. That way you have an answer for your own customer before anything else is decided.
Once the immediate problem is under control, we check the cause in a fixed order: whether the right compressor was supplied, then the product, packaging and transport, then the installation and the rest of the A/C system. We don’t call it a product fault or an installation fault until all of this is checked. Our sales team then goes through the result with you, including what it means for the rest of the batch and whether the rest of the order can stay on sale, and agrees the final solution with you.

Match CL-61006 and Other Honda A/C Parts to Your Market
Share a little about your market, and we will show you where CL-61006 fits in it. That includes which other Honda compressors, clutches, expansion valves and control valves are worth adding for the same cars, which models are likely to move where you sell, and which are better left out. You get a purchasing plan built around the cars your customers bring in, with pricing for the models that make sense.
Three details are enough to begin: the product or OE number, the country you sell into, and the quantity you are considering. It also helps to know the purpose of the purchase, such as extending a Honda range, replacing a current source or entering a new market, and the goal of the project, from a trial order to a regular supply line. With that, the plan can be matched more closely to your business. If some of this is not yet clear, our sales team can go through it with you, answer your questions in detail and suggest a practical way forward.
