The CL-61003 is a 12V AC compressor for the Toyota Camry 2.5L (2012–2017) and RAV4 2.5L (2009–2012): one unit for both cars. It replaces OE 88310-0R011 and 88310-42331, with a 6PK 120 mm clutch pulley.

Where the Camry and RAV4 are everyday family, taxi or fleet cars, this compressor keeps selling through independent workshops. Where Toyota is a small share of the market, it works better as one line in a wider range. Tell us your country, main vehicle models and usual volumes, and we will suggest where it fits in your range.

What the Toyota Camry 2.5L AC Compressor Does

The AC compressor is the part that makes the air conditioning work in the Toyota Camry 2.5L and RAV4 2.5L. It is driven by the engine through a 6PK belt. When the driver switches the A/C on, the clutch engages and the compressor starts pumping. It draws in low-pressure refrigerant, compresses it and pushes it on to the condenser, which keeps refrigerant moving through the whole system. Without it, the condenser, expansion valve and evaporator have nothing to work with, and the cabin gets no cooling.

When the compressor fails inside, through worn internals, a leaking shaft seal or a clutch that no longer engages, the car stops cooling and the compressor is replaced as a complete unit. The CL-61003 is our replacement unit for this job on both cars. It is one of the wholesale auto AC compressors we make for Toyota and other makes.

Why the Toyota Camry 2.5L AC Compressor Is Worth Sourcing

A/C compressors are a steady replacement category. When one fails inside, the workshop replaces it as a complete unit, and each of those jobs is a sale for whoever holds the right model. For the Camry 2.5L and RAV4 2.5L, three things decide how much of that demand reaches you.

How many of these cars run in your market. The Camry of these years was built in Japan, the United States, Australia and several Asian countries, and sold across the Americas, the Middle East, Asia and Australasia. In many markets it is a standard choice for families, taxi operators and company fleets. The RAV4 reaches even further: Toyota reports 15 million sold across 180 countries and regions (Toyota, 2025). One compressor that fits the 2.5L versions of both lets a single model answer enquiries for two of the most familiar Toyota names on the road.

How much the A/C is used. In hot markets, air conditioning is not optional. Drivers run it for most of the year, and taxis and fleet cars run it for most of the day. The compressor works harder and wears out sooner, and a car without cooling goes to the workshop straight away. The longer the hot season, the more replacements each year.

How old the cars are. The newest of these cars are now close to ten years old, and most are well past dealer warranty. Owners take them to independent workshops, which is where you sell. Fleets are getting older too: in Latin America the average car is now 12.9 years old (GiPA, 2025). As these cars keep running, the same compressor keeps being asked for, and CL-61003 sits naturally in a range of wholesale auto AC compressors built around the cars your customers bring in.

Growing Your A/C Parts Business Together

Two of Toyota’s most common nameplates, a hot climate and ageing cars make a clear opening for this compressor. Whether it turns into steady business depends on the supplier behind it. We make four A/C product lines: compressors, compressor clutches, expansion valves and control valves. We start from the cars your customers bring in. If most of your enquiries are for Toyota, for example, we point you to the parts we make for those cars, such as control valves for Denso compressors on the Camry, Corolla and Yaris, or our CL-88522 expansion valve, which also fits the Toyota Hilux. We also tell you plainly which models are unlikely to move in your market.

Your list will include models no single factory makes, and this is where we save you the most work. With more than 15 years in the A/C parts industry, we know China’s supply market well: which factories make which parts, and at what level of quality. When a compressor, clutch, expansion valve or control valve on your list is outside our own production, you tell us what matters for it: the price level your customers accept, the service life they expect, and the quantity you need. We compare the options we know against those points, recommend the one that fits, and tell you why, including when the lower-cost version is enough. Before the parts go into your order, we check them again ourselves. We look at their construction and workmanship against what we know from making these parts, and anything that doesn’t meet your requirement doesn’t ship. You don’t take a chance on a factory you have never met, and you don’t spend weeks comparing quotes from suppliers you can’t judge.

In practice, you send us one list with everything on it. We make the models in our range, source and check the rest, and ship them together. You keep one supplier and one contact instead of several. The minimum is 20 pieces per model, and different models can share an order, so you can take CL-61003 alongside other Toyota A/C parts, see what moves, and reorder what sells.

How Is Every CL-61003 Toyota Camry AC Compressor Tested Before Shipment?

Every CL-61003 goes through our own testing line before it is packed. That means every unit, not a sample from the batch. The line has five steps: a specification and damage check, a leak test at the main sealing points, a clutch and electrical insulation test, a run on a test bench that reproduces the temperature and pressure of a car’s A/C system, and a final check of model, label and quantity before packing.

1. Specification and Damage Check

Each compressor is first inspected for visible damage, then checked against the order specification for this model: 12V, TSE17C, 6PK pulley of 120 mm, electrical connector and refrigerant ports. A unit that does not match is removed before testing begins.

2. Leak Test at the Main Sealing Points

Each unit is leak-tested at its main sealing points: the housing joints, the shaft seal and the refrigerant ports. This test finds slow leaks that cannot be seen on inspection but would let refrigerant escape after fitting.

3. Clutch and Electrical Insulation Test

The clutch coil is powered to confirm that the clutch engages and releases cleanly, and the electrical insulation of the coil is tested. This finds clutches that slip, stick or fail to engage, and electrical faults in the coil.

4. Bench Test Under Operating Conditions

Each compressor runs on a test bench that reproduces the temperature and pressure it will face in a car’s A/C system. During the run we check that it builds pressure, runs steadily, and stays within normal noise and vibration. This finds faults that a static check cannot show, such as weak pumping or internal noise that only appears under load.

5. Final Check Before Packing

After testing, the model, label and quantity are checked again against the order, and the refrigerant ports are capped before the unit is packed.

What Happens If Something Goes Wrong With Your CL-61003 Order?

If something goes wrong, we deal with the immediate problem first, then find the cause, and our sales team agrees the final solution with you.

We don’t ask you to prove whose fault it is before we act, and we don’t go quiet while the cause is checked. Tell us what you are seeing: the order reference, how many pieces are affected, the vehicle, and photos or a short video if you have them. You get a first reply within about two hours of our working day. The first thing we deal with is the problem in front of you: what your customer is waiting for, where the stock is, and what you have already promised. That way you have an answer for your own customer before anything else is decided.

Once the immediate problem is under control, we check the cause in a fixed order: whether the right compressor was supplied, then the product, packaging and transport, then the installation and the rest of the A/C system. We don’t call it a product fault or an installation fault until all of this is checked. Our sales team then goes through the result with you, including what it means for the rest of the batch and whether the stock you hold can stay on sale, and agrees the final solution with you.

Match CL-61003 and Other Toyota A/C Parts to Your Market

Share a little about your market, and we will show you where CL-61003 fits in it. That covers which other Toyota compressors, clutches, expansion valves and control valves are worth adding for the same cars, which models are likely to move where you sell, and which are better left out. You get a range plan built around the cars your customers bring in, with pricing for the models that make sense.

Three details are enough to begin: the product or OE number, the country you sell into, and the quantity you are considering. If you can also tell us the purpose of the purchase, such as extending a Toyota range, replacing a current source or entering a new market, and the goal of the project, from a trial order to a regular supply line, the plan can be matched more closely to your business. If some of this is not yet clear, our sales team can go through it with you, answer your questions in detail and suggest a practical way forward.

FAQ

Which vehicles do your compressors fit?

Each product page lists the vehicle models that compressor fits. Our range covers many car brands and models, for both imported and locally built vehicles. If a vehicle you need is not listed, our sales team will confirm whether one of our models applies or whether a different one is needed.

What is the minimum order quantity?

The minimum is 20 pieces per model. Different models can be combined in the same order, so you can test several models in your market without a large commitment to any one of them.

Are your compressors new or remanufactured?

The compressors we manufacture are new units, not remanufactured. The condition of each model is stated in the specification table on its product page.

Is every compressor tested before shipment?

Yes. Every unit is tested on our own testing line, not a sample from the batch. Each compressor is checked against the order, leak-tested, checked for clutch engagement and electrical insulation, and run on a bench that reproduces the temperature and pressure of a car’s A/C system before it is packed.

What certifications do your compressors meet?

Our production operates under an ISO 9001 certified quality management system, and our products carry CE certification. We also comply with automotive industry standards such as IATF 16949.

Can I request a sample for testing?

Yes. We can provide samples so you can check that the compressor meets your requirements before a bulk order. The sample and shipping cost is agreed case by case, and if you go on to place a formal order, the sample cost is deducted from it.

Can you make a compressor to our requirements, or supply a model not listed on this site?

Yes. Our engineering team can develop a compressor based on your technical specifications, design requirements and vehicle types. For models we don’t produce, we can source them through our knowledge of China’s supply market and check them again using our own production experience before they ship with your order. Send us the OE number, vehicle model or your requirements to start.

What is your delivery time?

Normally 7 to 15 days. In-stock items may be dispatched on the same day, and production of in-stock models is arranged as soon as payment is received. Customised compressors take longer. Our sales team confirms the exact delivery time with you when the order is placed.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept T/T (telegraphic transfer), L/C (letter of credit), PayPal and Western Union, among others. The payment method can be agreed based on the order value and the details of the transaction.

How are the compressors packed?

Each compressor is packed individually, with its refrigerant ports capped to keep out moisture and dirt. Packaging follows international shipping standards and typically uses cartons, foam and plastic bags to protect the units in transit. Custom packaging is available for customers with specific requirements.

What happens if there is a problem with an order?

You get a first reply within about two hours of our working day. Our sales team first helps you deal with the immediate situation, such as a customer who is waiting or stock you are holding. We then check the cause step by step, tell you what we found, and agree the final solution with you.

How do I start an enquiry?

Send us the product or OE number, the country you sell into and the quantity you have in mind. If you can also share the purpose of the purchase and what the project aims to achieve, we can offer a more complete plan. If you are unsure what to include, our sales team is happy to talk it through with you.
